While the book is fiction, there are so many stories like the ones told in the book that are very true to life, so it may bring you down a bit if you think about the realities of how women are treated today. That Night is the debut novel of the author, Nidhi Upadhyay. It is disturbing and worthy of a trigger warning. The only thing I will warn you about is the content regarding rape in the book.
